Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Re: Portfolio withdrawals- not retired?

Does anyone have any issues with this?
I have no real concerns with your plan as long as you have a plan B if things go south before you are fully retired. I have worked at a number of places to know that in times of uncertainty, part time workers are often the first workers to be laid off. So potentially you have more risk to lose all of your salary and, perhaps more importantly your health benefits. Depending on age, it can be hard to find another equal paying job in quick order when close to retirement age which could put a strain on your finances if your unreliable spouses income was currently non-existent.

These are the things that I would be considering before pulling the trigger.
