Actually now I see it says Partnership : NoDoes the policy say "New York Partnership for Long-Term Care" on or near the very first page?
Also, what letters/numbers are in the bottom left corner of page one or the bottom right corner of page one?
Are such policies still sold today in NY with Partnership ?
Even if so, not sure how much of an additional premium would make sense given the never ending challenge to fund Medicaid.
NY is one of the better states in terms of Medicaid services offered but still they are looking to cut back, as is the new Federal gov.
Not sure I would pay more now to get a service later if not guaranteed to be there. How would it be guaranteed to have Medicaid funding, from a private insurance company ?
edit :
Just found this :
No current Partnership policies being offered at this time
As of January 1, 2021, there are no insurance companies currently offering new policy purchases of Partnership qualified products in New York State. This means that there are no new Partnership policies available for purchase at this time. This does not affect current, active insureds who are Partnership qualified.
