For me, I see an announcement stating that I will not be receiving a 1099 form. I understand the reason as the amount is under $10. Yes. I will report it on my tax return as I am required to do so. I don't understand why they don't issue one anyway, is it so much trouble to produce these forms? My experience is that Fidelity will produce one even if it is just a few cents, I remember receiving de minimis 1099-div from them in the past.
They're not required to send you a form if the interest is less than $10. This is a cost savings for brokerages and banks. Taxpayers are required to include all income that's not specifically excluded.
