Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Re: Question: When is it time to hire an advisor?

I am currently about (what I hope) to be six years away from retirement.
Right now, my spouse and I have about $3M in retirement savings:
$2.4M in Rollover IRA
$300K in Taxable brokerage
$300K in Roth IRAs
This is ALL in equities...largely S&P500, Total Stock Market fund..a small portion in single stocks...but nonetheless...no bonds.
Thoughts?
You don't need an advisor, you need to reduce your risk. You are an extreme outlier of not taking "too much risk" when sitting on all equities so close to retirement.
I agree. 100% stock at 6 years from retirement is flirting with the SORR demon.
