Because it sounds like the advisor asked about risk tolerance, then utterly ignored it to recommend what was going to be recommended anyway.Why?As a total beginner to the Boglehead philosophy, I would nevertheless trust this Fidelity process about as much as I'd trust a horoscope.
If the money is intended for heirs, 70/30 seems conservative enough to be a reasonable back up plan, but not conservative that it harms returns for heirs.
