X prefix is CMA, Z prefix is taxable brokerage, number prefix is one of the other account types: HSA, IRA, etc.You must have an old account if you have a leading X. They've gone to Z's at some point.Yeah, not working for my CMA yet either, though the dates have been a bit all over the place in terms of when it would work. Latest form reddit seems to be "end of this week".I believe it is June 18 now, but I could be wrong. The CS rep says "and on June 18, 2024, you will be able to actually make SPAXX your cash core position in the Cash Management account. "
I read as wait until the 18th.
My kudo was for posting a template of how to do it when available
I posted this in another thread, but https://digital.fidelity.com/ftgw/digit ... /X12345678 will let you change the core position for any account. Replace X12345678 with your actual CMA account number in the URL starting with leading X. You don't have to have any cash in your core position to use it.
The SPAXX core position change is working now, and I was able to use the link with no cash in my core position.
