Once returned rental to a small Hertz outpost in England. Some six months or so later, got biiled for damage and loss of use of a type car that I didn’t rent. I did not damage a car. It has been so long since this happened, so memory is fuzzy. Think I disputed charge with my JP Morgan card. Never heard from them agin.
