Withdrawals from savings accounts count towards the 6 transaction limit per month. That includes overdraft protection. My CU, Star One, offers much 3.25% without a dollar limit, but I'm still using the CMA due to lack of transaction limit and higher rates on MMFs.
Very valid point. Then again, what are the chances (based on the spending pattern of @cb474, of course!) that more than 6 overdrafts will be required, per month, month-in and month-out?

I don't claim that DCU is a perfect replacement for CMA, but even with this 6-withdrawals limit it could be a viable alternative.
