What evidence would that be? I don't see any plausible mechanism for old coolant to damage the head gasket.The car care nut would strongly disagree with you with loads of evidence to back it up. BTW, when I changed the coolant at 120k and 7 years in my Toyota, it looked PERFECT….not even a spec of anything in the coolant.There shouldn't be any relationship between replacing coolant and a blown head gasket.
