I assume what you are really asking is whether it will count as an online transaction, and the answer to that is No. However both the Travel Rewards and Premium Rewards cards will get you 2.625% back which is more than the processor fees.
Yes, I guess that was my question. Thanks for your suggestion.

I'll open a new TR or PR card with 0% APR at BA to get the SUB. I have to wait until 2025 because I already have very large balances on some 0% APR cards we opened with them this year (and got SUBs). I have to pay them off before I can apply for a new card. (I'll ask them to shift my credit limits around after I pay off the accounts.)

I did that to defer tIRA withdrawals for living expenses to next calendar year so I could optimize Roth conversions this year. Yes, I'll pay the tax eventually, but other cash flows come into play in 2025, so I can avoid higher marginal tax rates.
