Did you remember to add Part D additional tax ?
Did you remember to multiply by two ?

(185.50 + 35.30) * 2 * 12 = $5,299.2

This is a 2% federal tax increase on $266,000
$5300 a year is still not the disaster some posts seem to imply. Of course, $5300 pays for about 5 months of my property tax, so still worth avoiding when possible.
