Thanks. I received an email recently indicating mine could be picked up at Vanguard.I downloaded my husband's 1099-R from Vanguard yesterday as well. OP, try logging in to your Vanguard account to see if your 1099-R is available.
I was simply wondering if the actual payment, arranged to go to the IRS from Vanguard at RMD time, would arrive at the IRS by a date that means you avoid under-withholding penalties for the 2024 tax year. AsYouWish clarified that for me. It was never about the 1099R, it was about keeping the IRS from assessing penalties.
