Family of 5. Dallas area which I would consider HCOL. We spend about $1200 a month on groceries (sometimes more if need to fill up on Costco meats). About $500 a month on dining out. We only buy organic, high quality foods. I bake my own bread, muffins, biscuits etc for kids lunches. Still trying to save more on the budget but $1200 for groceries seems to be the most reasonable for us so far.
