Yeah, I noticed this last night when I tried it, about refilling the amount.

choose your taxable account and then the settlement fund,

This is where I failed last night--I chose my money market fund. That generated a window that told me that they can't do withholding on this transaction. Just as you said:

the site will tell you that you can’t withhold taxes,

And now I know that it was because I didn't select Settlement Fund in the taxable account.

And of course it's not an RMD if the money doesn't leave the IRA. Doh!

Now I get it. After the Settlement Fund shows up, next business day I presume, then I'll move it to the MM.

(I miss the old Mutual Fund days when you could just move stuff around in one go.)
