To your last point, so anyone with over $5MM NW, should they just buy coverage for up to $10MM or somewhere in the middle?

I am opining that 5m is probably the max even the wealthiest of people need irrespective of net worth. It is also harder to get policies upwards of 5m. Possible, but hard. Most providers max out at 5m.

For most people, 1m is plenty. But if you can afford more, get it… up to 5m.
