Investing - Theory, News & General • Re: Frequent Tax-Loss Harvesting During Market Downturn and Wash Sales Avoidance

I exchanged AVUV to DFSV, then DFSV went down and I bought DFAT. Now DFAT went down but I did not sell it yet because I ran out of known small-cap value ETFs (I know VBR but it is believed to be inferior to aforementioned ETFs).
I own shares of VBR purchased in 2009. IJS is another I use. I am no longer in the accumulation phase, so I am not periodically buying shares of anything in our taxable account. Instead I sell shares every month to help pay our expenses in retirement. Any "trading" I do is essentially for rebalancing.
