You can also check linkedin company page - search for role you applied and see if there are any new hires. If you see a new hire, then your chances are less. Sometimes companies keep candidates warm even after hiring new person when they have a good #2 alternative. This is true for critical roles where they can letgo their first choice and hire #2 if #1 didn't work out in month or so.
