I’ll join the chorus suggesting that you cancel. It’s sounds like one or both of your policies have reached the end of the “level” period, and your premiums will likely go up every year from now on. (You could confirm that with insurance company).

The only way I’d keep a policy is if it’s highly likely that your wife will die in the next 5 years or so. And it sounds like that’s probably not the case.
