Sounds like IBKR continues to lack in this area. Are you participating in IBKR's Stock Yield Investment Program? If not, I wonder if being a part of that program would change how dividends/PIL is handled.I don't have to ask them, I have an account and I get PIL every month, but I have a margin balance or negative options value. Perhaps shares lent under the yield enhancement program are recalled.Here is a response from IB regarding PIL with their Stock Yield Enhancement Program:
"Stock Yield Enhancement Program shares that are lent out are generally recalled from the borrower before ex-date in order to capture the dividend and avoid payments in lieu (PIL) of dividends."
comeinvest, maybe IB has updated their procedures. When did you ask them?
