When you have both, in retirement, Part B is primary and FEHB is secondary.

You want to research this for sure. Some FEHB plans “play nice together” with Part B and some do not. Three popular ones are…BCBS basic, Aetna Direct, and GEHA. They waive copays and BCBS and Aetna have a reimbursement fund that can be used to help pay the cost of Part B.

We have Aetna Direct and have been very happy so far. And they offer $900 per person (me and spouse) reimbursement to be used for Part B premiums.
