Duration is very long so highly interest rate sensitive.
In a taxable account, an investor holds the gilts directly - due to tax treatment. Not a fund.
In an ISA or pension one can just hold the fund.
Of course there is UK government credit risk. Which is not zero, but one hopes is very low.
