Personal Investments • Re: UPDATE (6 months later): Am i ready to call it quits?

Fun fact: MSFT almost 6x-ed in 1 year from 1986 - 1987 pre Black Monday (CAGR 454.45% in 1Y) yet MSFT was higher after the 1987 crash than at the start of that year... Amazing call you got 22%+ CAGR since then if you didn't sell anything.

Why only spend $300k/y on $100M NW?
Because I've always lived below my means. That's how you accumulate wealth. I didn't have to sell anything to purchase more stocks if there were dips. I've established dynasty trusts for my future heirs. $300K is for regular expenses, I spend more on annual vacations with the family, all first class plane fares, hotel suites and meals.
So then your spending is more if you don't include all other spending in your total.
No need to be stand-offish. If you show up on BH and write that you made $100M by buying the top performing stocks in their industries, you're going to get some questions and comments!
