So then your spending is more if you don't include all other spending in your total.Because I've always lived below my means. That's how you accumulate wealth. I didn't have to sell anything to purchase more stocks if there were dips. I've established dynasty trusts for my future heirs. $300K is for regular expenses, I spend more on annual vacations with the family, all first class plane fares, hotel suites and meals.
Fun fact: MSFT almost 6x-ed in 1 year from 1986 - 1987 pre Black Monday (CAGR 454.45% in 1Y) yet MSFT was higher after the 1987 crash than at the start of that year... Amazing call you got 22%+ CAGR since then if you didn't sell anything.
