Military OneSource (official DoD program) can provide services, including financial counseling, for "retired service members and their immediate family members until 365 days past end of tour of service, retirement date or discharge date." It's not clear to me if the counselors are actual CFPs, but it would be at no cost, and they would definitely understand the situation of a military retiree and spouse: https://www.militaryonesource.mil/benef ... ounseling/
