Personal Investments • Re: What percentage of your fixed allocation in retirement is TIPs ?

I'm guessing most people not close to retirement would have 0% in TIPs but others nearing retirement would use them to at least bridge to social security. I've slowing been adding them and have maybe 6% of my total portfolio in TIPs. I'm still trying to sort out my portfolio which is a bit messy due to some inherited accounts and I'm slowly organizing things so I can have money I need over the next 8 years to be all in fixed income.

Personally I don't think I would put all of my FI in tips. I don't like going all in on anything.
