We were told an MRI would need authorization when one was suggested at a routine follow-up appointment that could be performed at that time. It was obtained. Perhaps, it related to our secondary insurance which came with retirement from an employer. Yes, the no charge, annual "physical" is a Wellness Visit. There is also an annual, no charge cognitive evaluation if one chooses to take it. Our Wellness Visits have always been done by our PCP which may be the issue of potential other charges depending on what occurs during the assessment.
